WHO WE ARE

Engineers, strategists, technologists, and problem-solvers.

AG Consulting grew out of engineering, but our evolution has always been driven by the problems our clients asked us to solve. A client rarely has an “AV problem,” a “software problem,” or an “IT problem” in isolation. They have an operational challenge, a growth objective, a broken process, a technology investment decision, or an experience that needs to improve.

That is why our work expanded. An AV standard can become a global technology governance program. A collaboration project can become a workplace strategy. A spreadsheet-heavy workflow can become a custom application. A technology refresh can become a lifecycle and capital planning exercise. The disciplines change, but the consulting principle remains the same: understand the business first, then engineer the right answer.

We combine strategic thinking with real implementation experience. Our consultants are comfortable in executive conversations, technical design reviews, project rooms, construction sites, operations centers, and software workflows. That range allows us to translate between business goals and technical execution without losing either side of the conversation.

We also believe senior expertise should stay close to the work. Our distributed model lets us build teams around the engagement rather than around an oversized hierarchy. Clients get direct access to experienced consultants, specialists, and technical leaders who can move quickly from analysis to action.

OUR STORY

From Engineering Excellence
to Business Impact

We started as AV/IT engineers and designers solving complex technology challenges. Over more than 25 years, that work evolved into broader consulting: helping organizations understand what they actually need, how technology should support the business, and how to turn strategy into measurable outcomes.

Today we operate as a global collective of senior consultants and engineers, with our main office in Spain and a strong presence in Scotland, Portugal, Brazil, the USA and Mexico, supported by trusted specialists and partners worldwide.

From boardrooms to control rooms, from campuses to resorts, from hospitals to airports, and from global enterprise programs to highly specialized technical projects, we design, implement and optimize technology that improves performance, experience and growth.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Technology should fit the business.
The business should not have to fight the technology.

Technology is a tool, not the objective. The best solution is the one that improves productivity, efficiency, visibility, resilience, decision-making, or experience without creating unnecessary complexity.

01

Start with the operation.

We first understand how work actually happens, who is involved, what decisions are being made, where friction exists, and what should improve before deciding what technology belongs in the solution.

02

Do not force good processes into bad tools.

Sometimes a process genuinely needs to change. But organizations should not have to abandon effective ways of working simply because software is inflexible, poorly configured, or designed around someone else’s operation.

03

Use the simplest answer that works.

The answer may be a commercial platform, better configuration, integration, automation, process improvement, custom software, or an AI tool. We do not add technology unless it creates meaningful value.

04

Measure the outcome.

Success should be visible in the operation: fewer errors, faster decisions, lower support demand, improved adoption, stronger reliability, better experience, clearer reporting, or more productive teams.

“The disciplines may change. The principle does not: understand the business first, then engineer the right answer.”

OUR AV & TECHNOLOGY EXPERTISE

Audio Visual Design &
Technology Consulting

AV is part of our technical DNA. With more than 25 years of experience designing and consulting on professional Audio Visual, collaboration, control, and integrated technology systems, we understand both the engineering detail and the operational reality behind successful environments.

We approach AV as a consulting and engineering discipline, not as a list of equipment. User experience, acoustics, network architecture, infrastructure, control, DSP, interoperability, security, lifecycle, standards, commissioning, and long-term support all influence the final solution.

AV increasingly lives inside IT. Modern collaboration, networked AV, cloud platforms, monitoring, software, security, and workplace technology are tightly connected. Our broader technology background lets us bridge those disciplines rather than treating them as separate systems.
